Here’s what happened in the 2nd week of July in the Surrey, Cloverdale & Langley housing market!
It was a slower week compared to last week in terms of new listings coming to the market and the number of sales in all 3 neighbourhoods. That is expected since kids are off school and lots of people are gone on vacations.
This was also an important week in the real estate & financial industry. To combat high inflation rates, the Bank of Canada has increased interest rates by a full percentage point. This will impact the real estate market but there will be always opportunities.
Remember, if you sell low in this market, you also buy low in this market – it’s always relative.
